Cross- country running

Eaglesham School hosted two cross country meets in October.  One was an invitational meet in which about 150 runners competed from grades 4 to 12.    Some of the local schools to compete were St. Maries, Rycroft, Woking, CPHS, Savanna, and us.

The other meet  that was held was the N.W.A.S.A.A. Zone meet.  Students from grade 6 to 12 competed in this race meet. We had students racing from as far away as  Manning, Fox Creek, and LaCrete.  There were over 200 athletes racing in this meet.  Any senior high student who place in the top 15 was  eligible for the provincial meet held south of Lethbridge.
