The Eagleboosters funded Mike Bonnici's
program/presentation
"DYNAMIKE" |
Student Union president introducing Mike to the students |
|
Mike's presentation touched on the pecking order that
our students have all been a part of in one form or another. His
message was to take from the heart, put it in your thoughts and then act
on the actions. We often know in our heart when others actions are
wrong, we think about what is being done to others, but more often we do
not take positive actions to stop the behavior inflicted on others. |

|
Mike's presentation was humorous, which was great for
our junior and senior students who had just come through a week of
exams. The comedy helped them to relax and enjoy the afternoon
presentation.
THANK YOU MIKE FOR AN
ENTERTAINING AFTERNOON! |

| Grade 7 & 8 have been interpreting songs in
class. A song that Dylan chose by "Superchick" called
"Hero", touches on this topic of bullying. The chorus in
the song:
You could be a
hero
Heroes do what's
right
You could be a
hero
You might save a
life
You could be a hero, You could join the fight For what's right for what's
right for what's right
|
Williams song that he chose for the L.A. interpretation is a song by
Mark Wills entitled " Don't Laugh at Me". This song
is about the other side of bullying. What it feels like from a
victims perspective.
