group run even though some individuals not in volleyball have been running since the beginning of

Our first official run last
year on November 20th, there were 3 runners and it was something like - 21
C.
Our first official run this year we had 20
individuals out with some missing and it was -4 C. We sure hope the
rest of the winter is like this. |

Our Santa Shuffle on December 17th, had 23 runners and we had a
social at Mr. McKays house after. It was a great run as the
temperature was only -2 C and there was no wind.

Anyone who want to join our group, we leave from the school
at about 3:30 pm every Monday. Our running / walking time is
30
minutes right now.
Thank you Mr. and Mrs. McKay for
letting us have snacks at your house.

During our Turkey Trott each runner had to complete a
5 k distance. Each runner then drew a fellow runner from a hat and
had to predict how fast it would take them to run the 5k. Erick won
the turkeys as he was only 46 seconds off of Mr. Pauls finishing time,
which was the closest predicted time..

These two didn't run hard enough, 'cause they had
enough energy to start a snowball fight.
