| The 2Learn Workshop
Program is in its eleventh year
in our division. Its purpose is to assist our teachers
with the task of integrating technology into classroom
instruction. In the 2008-2009 school year our focus will be building skills
with Smartboard Technology and Videoconferencing. The 2Learn
site is developing into a tremendous resource for
Alberta teachers.
PWSD teachers have two new resources,
hosted on our  oodle
site, to improve collaboration and integration of technology into
instruction.
We have
a wonderful resource in our
Moodle
Learning Community site and we use this to share lessons,
assessments, and strategies and to maintain ongoing communication
between face to face meetings. Areas for research sharing, useful web
sites, statistical data and math fun are all parts of this site. This is
a teacher only site.
Our Moodle
ecommunity site is a place both students and teachers can access full
on-line courses. We have the new BCP courses - Biology 20, Chemistry 20 ,
Physics 20 and Math 31 on the site now.
