Welcome back to school!  I hope everyone had an enjoyable and relaxing summer vacation and is excited to return to school.  We have had a few minor changes in staff assignments for the new school year and I am happy to announce there will not be any triple grading in core subjects this year.  Mrs. Sheila Zahara is once again our Kindergarten Instructor as well as a Teaching Assistant.  Mrs. Doris Carvill is also returning as an Educational Assistant working with some of our younger students. Mrs. Rosaline Wasowicz is returning to the Grade One/Two class.  Miss Kathy Anderson is the Grade Three/Four homeroom teacher where she will be teaching Language Arts, Math and computers. We are happy to welcome Mr. David Smith and Mrs. Ruth Bunton to our teaching staff.  Both Mr. Smith and Mrs. Bunton have several years of teaching experience and are excited to be joining our staff. Mrs. Bunton will be teaching Social Studies and Science to grade Three/Four as well as Drama to our grade Seven and Eight students.   Mr. Smith will be the grade Five/Six homeroom teacher as well as providing French instruction to grades Three through Eight.  I will be teaching the Grade Seven/Eight's Math, Social Studies, and Science as well as Language Arts Grade 7/8.  And last but certainly not least Mrs. Joan Hardy is of course our Administrative Assistant and looks after hot lunch, booth and a variety of other activities.
